TED Talks – Brown Bag Series
November 8 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
An event every month that begins at 11:30am on day Second of the month, happening 3 times
Keystone’s senior program is offering a new TED Talks series. Everyone is welcome to join us for this free event.
TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues.
Each month we will watch a collection of pre-selected TED talk videos with a common theme and then have time for discussion. Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch to enjoy while we watch and discuss the videos.
Thursday, October 11: Mind Over Matter
Thursday, November 8: Gratitude
Thursday, December 13: Memory
All events take place from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the West 7th Community Center.
