A few years ago, Mary first visited Keystone’s Foodmobile when her pastor shared that the mobile food shelf would be stopping at the church. She was nervous to visit because she didn’t know if she’d qualify for the program, but is happy she tried it. “I have limited income and some health concerns so Keystone has been key in my life for me to get the produce and meat items that I need to stay healthy but often struggle to afford,” Mary shares. “Sincerely, what I appreciate most about the Foodmobile is getting fresh produce and meat because those things are really expensive and I don’t have the money to be able to buy them.”

During the pandemic, Mary was relieved to be able to safely participate in the modified Foodmobile program and new drive-through events. She appreciates the food she gets but more so Mary says the connection to the community has meant the most to her. “The best thing about the drive-through events is seeing people, having that safe contact with someone else, and knowing that someone cares about me.”

Your gift today will provide food and support for neighbors like Mary.

“I have not had to go hungry because of Keystone and their programs. It’s really something that’s saved my life.” ~ Mary
