Lersay

Posted Friday, June 21, 2019

Lersay was 16 when she started working part-time with Keystone’s Teen Tutor program and she was nervous because she wasn’t sure what it would be like to work with little kids. Lersay took the job because she wanted to help immigrant families like her own and after three years of working as a Keystone Teen Tutor she is so happy for this first job experience. “I am so lucky this was my first job; working as a Teen Tutor has given me so many skills that prepare me for my future,” Lersay says.

Lersay is one of the people featured in Keystone’s 2019 Report to the Community . in the report, you can read more about Lersay and how this first job helped her identified a career path. The report features other profiles of program participants as well as outlining key issues in our community and Keystone’s response.
