Keystone Launches Community Builder Program

Posted Friday, October 6, 2017

In response to funding changes in our community, we are starting a brand new monthly giving program – Keystone Community Builder.

Keystone Community Builders commit to a monthly gift to support Keystone’s programs, ensuring financial stability and sustaining the vital services provided to over 30,000 people in Ramsey County who count on us. Monthly gifts go directly to support Keystone’s core programs including food shelf services, academic and enrichment programs for youth, and senior services like Meals on Wheels.

Giving monthly in any amount is simple and worthwhile. Donors to the Community Builder program strengthen our community – today, tomorrow and every day. People in our community come to Keystone for support every day, in every season, and have done so for 78 years. Keystone Community Builders support neighbors in need as they strive to achieve or maintain independence, stability and self-sufficiency.

To celebrate the launch of this new program, one donor is making a special offer. This month new donors to the Community Builders program will have their gift topped by a $100 matching gift donated by one of our generous community donors.

Karen, a long-time Keystone donor, is offering an incentive to the first 150 donors who commit to a monthly gift to Keystone – she will add $100 to the first donation! When Karen learned about the United Way cuts to Keystone, she was inspired to give a gift that would help with our long-term sustainability. She made this special gift to Keystone because “being a sustaining member of Keystone is a statement of belief,” and she “believes in the power of individuals coming together as a community.”

We invite you to learn more about this program, Karen’s incentive gift and how you can join.
