To our Keystone community,
So many times over the last 11 months, I have been left speechless. I’m guessing you may have felt similarly.
Together, we’ve learned to live through the pandemic, have raised our voices louder for racial justice, and have found new and creative ways to care for one another. 2020 was truly a year unlike any other I have experienced personally or in my 38 years as a non-profit professional. While we all know there is still a lot to do to get through the pandemic, heal our community, work for justice, and provide support for our neighbors to get through this challenging time, I have to admit that many times over these last few months, I have been left truly speechless by the generosity and kindness of our community.
The generous spirit of our community is strong. During a time of so much uncertainty, all of us at Keystone have seen our community come together to make sure that everyone has what they need. When times are tough, you prove that you dig deeper to offer helping hands, smiles, a kind word, and give generously to care for everyone in our community.
In a time when so many things leave me speechless, I am heartened and sincerely grateful for your kindness, generosity, and genuine support.
Thank you and best wishes for the new year,
Mary McKeown,
President
