Keystone Musical Heritage Series: Ray Barnard
December 7, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm
The Keystone Musical Heritage Series begins this fall with sponsorship from the Minnesota Blues Society and the Minnesota State Arts Board. The series features performances on the first Thursday of each month by established and emerging Twin Cities musicians. We are kicking off the series for the month of December with Ray Barnard.
A resident of St. Paul’s Frogtown neighborhood, Ray is an old-school soul singer whose combination of great vocals, songwriting, and keyboard skills set him apart. He combines elements of greats such as Curtis Mayfield, Donny Hathaway, and Bill Withers into a style that is very much his own! Even his covers are delivered as a personal statement of being. His incredible band includes vocalist Clark Adams, guitarist Blair Krivanek, Nick Salisbury on bass, and Greg Schutte on drums.
Concerts are free, but tips for the band are encouraged!

Keystone arts funding is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
