We are hosting an Open House Event at our Community Kids Program in honor of Lights on Afterschool. All are welcome to stop by visit on October 18th from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. We will provide refreshments and program tours.

Here is a sampling of what you can enjoy at the event:

4:00-4:45 p.m.: 

• Classroom 1: Nutrition – English Muffin Pizzas
• Classroom 2: Nutrition – U of M Extension activity
• Classroom 3: Nutrition – Yogurt and fruit cones
• Classroom 4: Nutrition – Pancake Art / homework

  4:40-5:30 p.m.: 

• Classroom 1: Jewelry making / board games
• Classroom 2: Light Table play
• Classroom 3: Nintendo Switch Just Dance
• Classroom 4: Basketball in the Gym and board games

Community Kids is funded by Federal 21st Century Community Learning Centers and is administered through the Minnesota Department of Education.
