Film 2: THE STORY WE TELL
Ironically, it was not slavery but freedom that led to an ideology of white supremacy. This episode explores how deep social inequalities came to be rationalized as natural, deflecting attention from social practices and public policies that benefitted whites at the expense of others.
Tuesday, May 7th, 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. at West 7th Community Center, 265 Oneida St., St. Paul, 55102
Or
Wednesday, May 8th, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. at Merriam Park Community Center, 2000 St. Anthony Ave, St. Paul 55104

Part 3: THE HOUSE WE LIVE IN
We see how benefits quietly and often invisibly accrue to white people, because of the racialized nature of our laws, courts, customs and perhaps most pertinently, our housing. This episode shows us that until we address the legacy of past discrimination, the dream of equality will remain out of reach.
Tuesday, June 4th, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. at Merriam Park Community Center, 2000 St. Anthony Ave, St. Paul 55104
Or
Wednesday, June 5th, 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. at West 7th Community Center, 265 Oneida St., St. Paul, 55102
